Higher education is specialized type of training that is offered by by institutions of higher education such as:

  • Universities 
  • University of technology
  • Technical and Vocational Education Training (TVET) collages 

And one has to meet certain requirements in order to qualify.

The importance of higher education

It is important because it helps deserving students with the required and relevant skills, knowledge and attitudes that are typical in different careers for effective contribution. It offers specific training that could enable one to explore entrepreneurial  opportunities so that jobs could be created for the growth and development of the country and its economy. At tertiary level, students are exposed to the latest development in the area of economic development and prepares them for what to expect at the job market.
